Sahra Siide
My eating habits are I eat almost the same food every day. I don’t usually eat breakfast but I eat lunch for sure so I can get energy for the day. I don’t think it matter to me whether I eat healthy or not. I eat whatever my mom or I cook at home. I never ever eat vegetables because I hate them. I’m so glad that no one ever forced me to eat vegetables however, I like eating fruits and sweets. I can eat them all day long especially chocolates. In that case, my mom tells to stop eating a lot of sweet until the vegetables where no one tells to eat them or not. We don’t stay home at the weekends so we eat fast food. We don’t get enough time to cook at home in the weekends and eating fast food saves time for us. We shop for food at ALDI or even sometimes we go to Cup Foods. Whether it’s organic food or not, it doesn’t matter to me because I eat at home and it doesn’t matter what I eat what kind of food it’s as long as I am eating at home. I also think it would matter the kind of food I eat as long as I’m not eating too much of it. Nothing or any food I eat changes what I do or eat but I want to be a healthy eater. I don’t feel any problems or reduce any problems to my body. Also I am not I a healthy eater always but I do realize a lot from watching the videos in class and from the readings too.

Is the food we eat healthy and safe? Not everything we eat is healthy and safe especially fast food or junk food. In the reading of “The unhealthy Meat Market”, by Nicholas D. Kristof says, “Antibiotics are routinely fed to animals and birds to help them grow quickly in crowded, dirty conditions. This can lead to antibiotic resistant infections.” Basically this quote explains that the people gave antibiotics to make the animals grow faster but at the same time they are in bad conditions. It can also cause infections not only to the animals but also us because we are eating the meat from the animals.

The Value of Friendship: Why is Jamal and Forrester’s friendship significant in the film?

The values of friendships are the fact that you have someone to help you and you can lean on them. They make sure you aren't worried about anything. Without friendships, we wouldn't have anyone to always be by our sides. That's how Jamal and Forrester's friendship was like. At first they did not get along as much. But as time went on, it became more significant along the way because they understood each other. When Jamal was having a tough time doing his first draft, Forrester helped him and gave him advice by saying,"No thinking - that comes later. You must write your first draft with your heart. You rewrite with your head. The first key to writing is... to write, not to think!" He means that Jamal should not been thinking,he just should have written his draft freely and with just using his head. The scene that i liked from this movie is scene twenty-six. Forrester finally comes out of his apartment to go to the school for Jamal. He goes to the class and reads Jamal's personal paper "Losing Family." After he finished reading, he stated that Jamal wrote it without his help and that he did not plagiarize. The school board takes that paper and add it to the writing contest. During that scene, I realized how grateful Forrester was for meeting Jamal. If they never met, Forrester would have never left his apartment and Jamal would have never shared his writing with others. Without each other, they have never accomplished the things they did now, even when Forrester passed away.
